As one grows older, skin care becomes increasingly essential, especially for women.

Contrary to popular notions, ageing doesn’t start in one’s late thirties or early forties.

Signs of ageing begin to appear on the skin right after the age of 25. Thereby, it is important to combat these signs and nip them right at the bud.

Instead of spending a fortune on anti ageing products, here are some natural remedies to look younger after 25. Hope they help!

The Coffee Mask

Ingredients:

  • Used Coffee grounds – 1 tbsp
  • Honey – 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. In a bowl, take a tablespoon of used ground coffee beans. If you do not have ground coffee beans, you can use instant coffee powder as well.
  2. Add a tablespoon of honey to it.
  3. Mix it well.
  4. Apply it all over your face.
  5. Leave it on for 20 minutes.
  6. After it dries out completely, rinse it off with cool water.
  7. Follow up with a moisturizer.

Frequency:

Use it once to twice a week for best results.

The Egg White Remedy

Ingredients:

  • Egg whites – 2-3

Method:

  1. In a bowl, break 2-3 eggs and separate the whites from the yolks.
  2. With the help of a fork, beat the whites.
  3. Apply it all over your face especially on the area where you have wrinkles, e.g, forehead.
  4. Leave it on for 15 minutes until it dries out.
  5. Wash off with cool water.
  6. Follow up with a moisturizer.

Frequency:

Use it once to twice a week for best results.

The Carrot-Potato Pack

Ingredients:

  • Carrot – 1 small
  • Potato – 1 small
  • Turmeric – a pinch
  • Baking soda – a pinch
  • Water – 1 tbsp or more

Method:

  1. Firstly, boil the carrot and potato.
  2. After they become soft enough, cut them into small pieces and mash them together with the back of a fork.
  3. To it, add a pinch of turmeric powder.
  4. Next, add a pinch of baking powder.
  5. Add a tablespoon of water and mix it all well.
  6. You can add more water if you think that the consistency is thick.
  7. Apply it all over your face.
  8. Leave it on for 20 mins.
  9. Wash it off with lukewarm water.
  10. Follow up with a moisturizer.

Frequency:

Use it twice a week for best results.

The Apple Cleanse

Ingredients:

  • Green apple – about half
  • Honey – 2 tbsp
  • Chia Seeds – 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Take a green apple. Wash, peel, and cut its one half into chunks.
  2. Grind it into a coarse paste with a blender.
  3. In a bowl, pour the apple paste.
  4. To it add 2 tbsp of honey.
  5. Add 2 tbsp of chia seeds to it.
  6. Mix it all well.
  7. Use it to scrub your face in circular motions for about 10 minutes.
  8. Wash it off using lukewarm water.
  9. Follow up with a moisturizer.

Frequency:

Use it once to twice a week for best results.

The Rosewater Remedy

Ingredients:

  • Rosewater – 1 tbsp
  • Glycerin – 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. In a bowl, mix equal amounts of rosewater and glycerin, here we are taking 1 tbsp each.
  2. Take a cotton ball and soak it in the rosewater-glycerin solution.
  3. Wash your face and neck using a mild cleanser, pat them dry.
  4. Wipe your face and neck with the soaked cotton ball.
  5. Let it dry on its own.
  6. Follow up with a moisturizer.

Frequency:

Use it daily for best results.
